The last action of this year’s College Government Cabinet will be to hold a sequence of events known collectively as Failsafe: Redefining Failure. The event will include a series called “Community
Chats” where 31 alumnae will share personal experiences about dealing with failure. These will occur on Wednesday April 20, 2016 from 8p.m. to 10 p.m. in Severance, Munger, Stone Davis, and
McAfee. Additionally, there will be a brunch with faculty and alumnae to further discuss experiences with failure on Saturday April 23, 2016 from 11 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Alumnae Ballroom by RSVP only.

Deputy Chief Position proposed

The Chief Justice proposed an amendment to the Honor Code Council’s Constitution that would allow for the position of Deputy Chief Justice to be created. The Deputy Chief Justice would be appointed by the Chief Justice. The position’s duties would include presiding over hearings in the event that the Chief Justice recuses herself or when required by time constraints or caseloads. The Deputy Chief Justice would also support the Treasurer and or Secretary in student and committee meetings. The position would require meeting with the Chief Justice and the Honor Code Administrative Coordinator regularly.
