Hollis Rammer ’20 is the Chair of Communications and Finance. Originally from Sheboygan, WI, she is majoring in Political Science and Russia Area Studies.

Hi Wellesley!

My name is Hollis, and I’m this year’s chair of communications and finance (formerly secretary treasurer) on CG’s cabinet. One of my main responsibilities this semester is acting as a cabinet representative on the Elections Committee (EC), which is tasked with running elections for next year’s cabinet. EC is made up of two cabinet members (myself and our College Government president, Diana Lam) as well as representatives from Multicultural Presidents’ Council, House Presidents’ Council, Senate, and students-at-large. As you may have seen, the elections process is beginning! A full schedule of events is listed below. If you’re interested in running for one of the nine cabinet questions or in running a Ballot Question or Ballot Initiative, you must attend an information session, of which there is one remaining:

Information Session #2 – Thursday, Feb. 27 from 1 to 2 pm in the Lulu Resource Room

Statements of Intent – submit to ec20@wellesley.edu by Sunday, March 1 at 11.59 pm

Timespan for Active Campaigning – Wednesday, March 4 at 8 am to Wednesday, March 11 at 11:59 pm

Debate #1 – Wednesday, March 4 from 6:30 to 8 pm in McAfee Dining Hall

Candidate Crawl – Tuesday, March 10 from 8 to 10 pm in House Councils

Debate #2 – Wednesday, March 11 from 6:30 to 8 pm in Tishman Commons

Election Day – Thursday, March 12 from 8 am to 8 pm online

The elections website is also live, and updated with the Elections Handbook and other important information. Check it out here: https://sites.google.com/wellesley.edu/wellesley-cg-elections/home

Please reach out to EC at ec20@wellesley.edu with any questions or concerns! Next week, Avery our CPLA Chair will be writing again, so stay tuned
