News in Brief – 5/4/22

COVID cases

According to Dean Sheilah Shaw Horton, the amount of COVID-19 cases on campus continues to increase. During the week of April 17-23, the Wellesley COVID-19 Dashboard reported 65 student and faculty cases. Additionally, in the week of April 24-30, there were 67 reported student and faculty cases. In her weekly email, Dean Horton recommended that students communicate with Health Services if they are experiencing any symptoms. 

 

Housing Portal opens

On April 20, the Wellesley Fall 2022 Housing Intent & Application opened for Wellesley students. The Office of Residential Life provided a Housing Selection FAQ page for students to utilize while completing their application. Students must have completed the Intent & Application by April 30. Registration time slots will be announced sometime in early May.

 

LDOC Artist Announcement

On April 22, WZLY and SBOG announced that the Spring 2022 LDOC artist is Audrey Nuna. Doors will open for the concert on May 6 at 7 p.m. in the Alumnae Auditorium. Entrance is free for Wellesley students on a first come, first serve basis until capacity is reached. Babson, Olin, MIT and Harvard guests can purchase tickets for $15. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
