Interim Dean of Students discusses RA/HP Compensation and diplomas

Interim Dean of Students Adele Wolfson presented the provisions of the Resident Assistant/House President (RA/HP) stipend for the upcoming academic year. The stipend will be distributed in four increments at the beginning and end of each semester. RAs in their first year of service will receive $2,100; RAs in their second or third year of service will receive $2,200; HPs will receive $2,300. At the moment, job descriptions are being reworked and will be released during the application process. In addition, Wellesley College will now be providing diplomas with names written in non-Roman letters. Dean Wolfson will be accepting requests from students for specific languages that should be used for the diplomas. Requests can be sent to Dean Wolfson at awolfson@wellesley.edu.

College Government Senators announce upcoming surveys

AVI Fresh will be providing surveys about their services on iPads during the second week of December for students to leave their feedback. Library Technology Services will also be releasing a survey to assess students’ needs and feedback regarding current services. The Babson-Olin-Wellesley (BOW) Representative, Katelyn Campbell ’17, will be accepting student feedback to take to the next BOW meeting about the BOW shuttle. Feedback can be sent to kcampbe2@wellesley.edu.
