Senate Report: 12/2

Office of Sustainability presents on funds

Sharon Bort, from the Office of Sustainability, came to Senate and discussed the two funds overseen by the office: the Class of 1957 fund for student projects and the Green Revolving Fund for projects that can save the college money. For example, when Wellesley switched the to LED lights, the savings were calculated and cycled back into the fund. If you are curious about learning more, talk to Sharon at sbort@wellesley.edu.

Interim Dean of Students announces office hours and discusses diploma language scripts.

The college is in the process of figuring out how many different fonts are needed for the diplomas. Seniors should have received an announcement about the use of different language scripts. Interim Dean Wolfson and Dean Bate will be holding open office hours on December 7th from 2-4pm in their office, Green Hall 344. Students can bring their questions or concerns to the deans; tea and cookies will be served.
