President’s Corner 3/11/20

Hi Wellesley!

I am so excited to be writing for The Wellesley News for this week’s Cabinet Column. ARC (the Appointed Representatives Committee) is responsible for selecting students to sit on the College’s administrative committees, boards, and task forces. Wellesley is one of only a few colleges and universities in the country that allow students to sit on these committees, which is remarkable! This is the very first year that ARC has existed, and I have cherished the opportunity to mold this committee into a strong and efficient tool for students.

This is your reminder to apply to sit on the Pinanski Prize Committee (if you’re a senior). You’re able to select faculty to be acknowledged for extraordinary mentorship and teaching. Check out the email I sent out last week to find the application and a detailed description of the committee!

If you’re interested in applying to sit among faculty, staff, and administration on committees, feel free to reach out! My email is cgvp@wellesley.edu, and you can Facebook message me.

Cheers!
Felicity
