On Sept. 10, students gathered at Severance Green in the sweltering humidity, wandering through a sea of tables advertising orgs from all categories, including pre-professional orgs, SBOG, acapella groups and societies. All in all, there were a multitude of different activities for any Wellesley student to sign up for. 

When asked for  three words  to describe the Orgs Fair, Lillian Goins ’26 stated that the  fair was the “epitome of Wellesley.” 

Every year, the Orgs Fair demonstrates how Wellesley allows students to grow and flourish through the diverse amount of opportunities presented at each organization. . At the fair, new and returning students can explore different activities that are unique to Wellesley. 

“I joined a lot of poetry and writing publications to explore my interests rather than focusing more on a career oriented journey so I can find out what I enjoy during my time here”, Goins said.. 

The experience was “variety, sweaty and informational” according to Angela Li ’26. “I definitely joined too many [orgs], but the main ones I am looking forward to are Freestyle, Asian Students Union and Psych! Everyone was super nice and there were a lot of options to choose from,” she added.

The Orgs Fair attracted new members for both existing and  newly founded orgs at Wellesley. Students braved the lasting heat of Massachusetts summer to join a myriad of orgs and made new connections across class years.
