What she misses about home:  I miss the time I spent with my family, especially my grandparents and my two brothers. We are triplets and they are freshmen at Brown now!

Three most intriguing places on campus: The cow chair room in the Lulu, the basement of the Clapp Library and Tower Dining Hall!

First week in three words: Tiring, interesting, eye-opening.

What surprised her about Wellesley: Wellesley’s diversity exceeded my expectations! I knew the diversity was there. I just didn’t know to what extent. Being here and experiencing that diversity was eye-opening.

Favorite Dining Hall: Tower.

Tashay Campbell

Hometown: I was born in Port Antonio in Jamaica, but I now live in Coral Springs, Fla.

What she misses about home:  I miss my dog. Her name is Kuki.

Three most intriguing places on campus: Platform 9 3/4, the Lulu and elevators in Tower.

First week in three words: Tiring, adventurous, promising.

Potential Major: International relations with a focus on political science.

What surprised her about Wellesley: I thought everyone would be super into their work all the time, and no one would be willing to explore and have fun with me, but I found a lot of people who are willing to do things outside of school!

What she does in her spare time: I like to hang out with my new friends, watch Scandal and explore Boston!

Monica Reno

Hometown: Portland, Maine

What she misses about home: I really miss my cat, Boo.

Three most intriguing places on campus: The observatory, the residential quad (no idea what it’s like over there!) and the Shakespeare house.

First week in three words: Emotional, uncomfortable, exciting.

Potential Major: Mathematics and maybe economics.

What surprised her about Wellesley: Bunnies!  I had no idea there were bunnies here, and I could not be more excited about that!

Favorite Dining Hall: Bates is definitely my favorite because of the awesome variety of global foods.

What she does in her spare time: Chill with friends or watch movies, but I’m considering joining the film society and history club!

Azalea Troche

Hometown: Dulles, Texas.

What she misses about home: I miss my parents, my dogs and the food. Their names are Penny, Savanah, Luna.

Three most intriguing places on campus: Freeman Hall room 304, the Anderson Forum in Lulu and the Clapp Library.

First week in three words: Lots of walking.

Potential major: International relations or women and gender studies or Middle Eastern studies or peace and justice studies.

What surprised her about Wellesley: How pro-active everyone is. Everyone’s not only aware about the issues around them, but they take action.

Favorite dining hall: Bates.

What she does in her spare time: Sing in our room at least three times an hour.
