Dining Presentation
Resident Director of Wellesley Fresh Julie Jordan spoke about changes to the dining system put in place this year. There are plans in motion to open a Micro Market near the Emporium, which will be open 24 hours a day. She also addressed concerns regarding lunch and dinner entrees being the same on many days as being due to labor and agricultural supply shortages caused by the pandemic. She explained this as the reason why there are differences between what is displayed on the online menu and what is available at the dining halls.
Transportation
The contested changes in the bus schedule were addressed by Peter Eastment, the director of Faculty Housing and Transportation. He explained that the changes were made for environmental reasons and to optimise the bus schedule by reducing empty bus runs. He also stated that the College is facing driver shortages, but will try to accommodate a morning shuttle between Cambridge and Wellesley.
