Forbes defines “Girl Math” as “an invented set of rules that women supposedly keep to when justifying impulse spending.” But “Boy Math is all about nonsensical rules” specifically focused on “general hypocrisy and leaps of logic.” Here at Wellesley, we have a unique place in this meme, for we are the only institution currently offering a course in Boy Math. It’s a Babson-Olin-Wellesley interdisciplinary class, co-taught by Dr. Levitt, the chair of our sociology department, and Brad F. Babson’s Delta Tau Delta social chair.
