A mainstay across my feed has been one band: KATSEYE. Katseye is an L.A.-based girl group made up of members from all over the world, representing South Koreans, Filipinos, Swiss-Italian-Ghanians, and American diasporas of Venezuelan Cubans, Indians, and Chinese Singaporeans.

Who is yearning for these mines? A “Minecraft Movie” review

“A Minecraft Movie” opened in theaters April 4th to resounding success, hitting $550 million at the box office after two weekends. The movie drew in a mix of young children, excited for the bright colors and “brain rot” vibes, as well as longtime fans of the video game: who were excited to see how a sandbox game might be adapted into a film narrative. However, with its confusing mix of homage to the original game and attempted appeal to Gen Alpha, it’s hard to tell if the movie adds anything of substance to the already-beloved game.
